Gin’s undergone somewhat of a renaissance of late, moving from ‘mother’s ruin’ to an artisan spirit. Our client wanted to run a campaign during the summer to highlight the brands they stock & generate an uplift in sales across their estate.
The brief was that the campaign should draw the eye and engage their guests. We chose a hand-drawn illustration style with a bold tagline – ‘Have a gin fling this summer’ and developed a suite of postcards promoting each brand.
We also enjoyed writing some stories for the postcards around the history of gin from the days of British Empire to Prohibition, to encourage customers to take them home & share with friends who’d also pop-in to experience the gin cocktails on offer
